Magna Science Trip – Autumn term 1
Class 4 had an amazing day out at Magna. We had two different workshops. In the first workshop, we saw how different types of rockets work. It was very practical, and some of the class were invited to the front to assist. We even saw how a flame thrower can be made using icing sugar. In the second workshop, we worked in groups to make hot air balloons. The children had to decide which fuel to use and what size balloon. Some of the balloons got off the ground!
We spent the rest of the day exploring the earth, air, fire and water zones. There was even time to have some fun on the sci-tech playground.
