This half term we have had our first Forest Schools lesson. We went into the woods and Mrs Dutton asked us to first find a stick that was the same size as our arm. We then found a stone family hiding amongst the logs and they needed a home. Mrs Dutton put us into groups to go and make a house for our stone families. We had to make walls, a roof and then decorate them, using the natural resources in the woods. We then went and had a look at other groups houses and heard about what they had included.

We had lots of fun and can’t wait for our next lesson.

Forest Schools is every Monday next half term, please bring a change of footwear (wellies or boots) and a warm coat and jumper. We will provide the puddle suits.
