Class 2

A very warm welcome from the Reception team. In the team we have myself (Miss Carnelley), Mrs Webb, Mrs Hopkinson and Mrs Dutton (Forest Schools).

This half term we will be focusing on History. We will be particularly looking at timelines, similarities and differences of objects we use today and in the past and ways of life, comparing them to how we live now. Additionally, we will be practising our how and why questions to find out more information, about this exciting History topic. We will also be looking at growing plants in Science and ball skills, more specifically, kicking, passing, batting and aiming, in P.E. We will also be looking at 3 core texts about all things castles and adventures. Our trip this half term will be to Bolsover Castle and Forest Schools will continue every Monday. We look forward to this half term with you all.
